Memories of games Vs SOUTHAMPTON...
Paulo FUTRE destroying the fuck out of them in 96/97... Benali giving a penalty away and getting sent-off... How shit was he?... Won 2-1 after being 1-0 down... Should've been about 6-1...

Ken MONKOU last-gasp own-goal in a 3-3 draw at our place in 93/94... Last game before the BM stand was built... Southampton somehow stayed-up again... They always used to beat the drop on the final day...

YOU CUNTS?...

Dicksie's comeback game, we won 2-0.

3-3 draw last game of the season, saints fans in flat caps as a tribute to Alan Ball.

James Beattie last minute winner.

Saints with Draper tools as the sponsor and Rueben AGBOOLA in the side.

Back stick BUDDY from STRETCH in the run in 1986. Was midweek so probably one of the catch up games.

October 2012 - they were all over us in the first half and were lucky to go in at half time still level.

Then early in the second half we scored two quick fire goals.

3 - 2 win at the Dell in 85. Shilts was in goal and Goddard scored a sublime header.

Getting crushed 4 - 0 at their place first game of the season the season we got relegated in 88 - 89. I'm sure it absolutely chucked it down in the second half.

I seem to recall a game against them where we were 3-0 up at half time but somehow ended up losing 3-4.

Getting spanked 3-0 at the Dell in about 1997.

Jason Todd scored a screamer.

Kevin Davies (of course) and Egil OSTENSTAD also scored.

John Sydenham repeatably skinning Bonzo down the left wing, late 1960s.

Epic game at UP the season that McMenemy brought Keegan back from Hamburg. Something like 5-3 to us, Bonzo superb.

Re: Memories of games Vs SOUTHAMPTON...
Oh and I've just remembered them beating us on a Monday night at UP 1-0 scored by James Beatty. It was Roeder's relegation season and Ian Pearce was played up front. DiCanio came out in the second half with bandage from hip to ankle on his left leg.

Calling Mat Le Tissier a big nosed cunt when he came over to the touchline, from the front row of the west side, circa 1998. Heard it clearly and looked me straight in the face and me and my mates pissed ourselves.
